Rumored BioShock remaster might be in testing at 2K

More evidence of a BioShock remaster has apparently been exposed through Steam.

Ended the past weekend, users on Reddit noticed that the SteamDB database entries for BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite had whol been newly updated. Simply put, this agency that some sort of internal development for the Steam builds of all three games is currently loss on at publisher 2K, although it's impossible to say for fated what that development is for.

About induce taken this as a brawny indication that the recent BioShock RTX remaster from the Nvidia leak is genuine. Last month, Nvidia suffered a huge database wetting, where a slate of unpredicted games were revealed, including a BioShock RTX remaster of the newfangled gage. Nvidia stated that all the unannounced games revealed done the leak was "curious" along the manufacturer's part, however.

Scorn that, this is some pretty simultaneous tell of ongoing development on the original cardinal BioShock games. It should be noted that the Nvidia wetting specifically declared that a remaster of the original BioShock would be forthcoming, and didn't name the two sequels atomic number 3 receiving the remaster treatment at extraordinary point further down the blood.

Also detailed in the Nvidia leak was a 2022 release date for the enigmatic BioShock 4. A brand new entry in the franchise was first declared in tardily 2019, to be developed under publisher 2K by Dapple Chamber. At the time, 2K stated that the claim would be in development for at any rate the future few eld, indicating that it was still some shipway off. Could BioShock 4 really follow launching next year, or is this just further speculation from Nvidia?
